Our Story

Church 180 Newmarket was launched as a pioneering work out of Church 180 Mississauga, our mother church, which was founded in 1988 by missionaries Mike and Mary Webb from the United States. For over 34 years, the Webbs faithfully served the people of Canada, building a powerful legacy of discipleship, evangelism, and transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 2022, after decades of fruitful ministry, the Webbs returned to their home church — The Door Christian Fellowship in Tucson, Arizona.

Following their transition, Pastors Gene and Cheryl LaValley were welcomed as the new Senior Pastors of Church 180 Mississauga, continuing the mission with passion and vision.

With a burning desire to see souls saved and lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, Fabbian and Toni-Ann Honeywell answered the call to preach the Good News. They were officially launched into Newmarket during the Toronto International Bible Conference in May 2024.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Church 180 Newmarket is a Bible-based, Spirit filled, nondenominational family of believers. We count it a privilege to welcome you to our church and minister to your spiritual needs. Regular services begin with praise and worship that will ready your heart for the preaching of God's Word. After prayer requests and opening the service in prayer, we take an offering to honor the Lord. Announcements are followed by the biblical preaching of God's Word and an altar call.

The focus of worship at Church180 Newmarket is to provide an inviting atmosphere where men and women can experience, first-hand, the gracious and loving presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to allow the Holy Spirit to create an openness in people’s hearts so that they may receive the preaching of the Word of God.

We invite you to join us at the beginning of each service for an uplifting time of praise and worship. You will be refreshed and encouraged in the tangible presence of God.
